I met Lynn around 2000 when I took her step areobics class as a
required course at Victor Valley College. I was a size 24 and weighed 275 pounds when
I walked into the gym. I was too embarrassed to have Lynn measure me.
The next semester
I added Yogalaties to my schedule. Within a year of "eating less and moving more" I was
at my target size- a 12 and 125 pounds lighter.
The yogalates and the nutritional education
I received from Lynn has truly changed my life. Having effectively conquered the weight
gain without appetite reducers or surgery has given me confidence to face any challenge
life presents. I am currently a size 10.

I began Lynn’s Yogalates program about 2 years ago, this was thanks
to a dear close friend, Monica Wettengel. I was overweight and had no confidence or
motivation in myself. I remember plenty of days wearing bigger clothes, hiding my flaws
and even crying in frustration on why I am letting myself fall apart. Even with all of
that I still super sized a meal and ate anything I wanted without thinking of the results
of my bad habits. In prior attempts to lose weight I tried heavy weight lifting, and with

knowledge to become a healthier person. It was soon after taking Lynn’s Yogalates class that I realized it was life changing. I learned
how to work out correctly and effectively, learned how to understand my body and strength
and tone muscles. It was different from any exercise that I have ever done, because it was
endurance training and focused on the core, and yes ladies, men worry about that too.
I have gone from 250 pounds to 178, with less then 10% body fat. My size 40 waist
is now a 34, and I have the motivation to eat healthy and run 4 or more miles a day. Even
when on vacation, I mimic the exercises learned in Lynn’s class to keep my tone and strength
my mind, body and soul. My 4 year old daughter loves playing with daddy coping what I
do or helps in being my resistance in my routines.
This isn’t just a routine-it is a life changing experience that helps
you motivate yourself to become the person you wanted to be. It will build your confidence and give your
muscles tone.
If you are looking for a challenge do not hesitate,
I promise you will not regret it. By the way, if the men in your life say that this is not a workout
have them do the routines. Trust me, they will be surprised on how much it takes to do this workout.

Hi! My name is Erin and I’m 52 years old. The motivation I had to get back into exercise was
generated by the death of my father and then 7 months later to the day I lost my mom. My mom
had ongoing health problems due to lack of exercise and being overweight. She suffered with
high blood pressure, diabetes, and chronic pain from neuropathy brought on by diabetes. She
developed serious heart damage from the blood pressure not being controlled properly.
Eventually her kidneys just gave out and due to the fact that her heart

5 pounds since starting the class. Over the past few weeks, I can do more of the exercises today
than when I began. Mentally it has done wonders for me as well.
My self confidence is up, I feel stronger and look better in my clothes.
